Conference on Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE)

NATF welcomed Rear Admiral Steven K. Galson, MD, MPH, Acting Surgeon General of the United States, to Brigham and Women's Hospital for a discussion of the recently released Call to Action to Prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism. The 2-hour meeting included state-of-the-art presentations on prophylaxis measures and critical developments in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of thrombotic disorders.
