How Can I Help?

NATF Volunteer Opportunities

Fundraising and Educational Program Volunteers - We are always in need of volunteers throughout the year for educational events and fundraising efforts. If interested, please email your contact information to: info@NATFonline.org

Patient Advocates - At NATF, we believe that patients are often their own best advocates for thrombosis treatment and prevention. When a patient shares their personal experience, they cultivate a powerful image of the humanity behind thrombotic disorders. To find out how you can join NATF in our efforts to raise public awareness, please email: info@NATFonline.org

Make A Difference - Support NATF Programs

Thrombosis Education:

With your support, NATF sponsors several multidisciplinary thrombosis education programs annually: 1) "Proactive Prophyalxis," a multidisciplinary symposium geared to healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers, and 2) the NATF "Thrombosis Summit," an annual event focused to meet all five NATF mission points.

NATF strives to promote the educational events of our partner thrombosis organizations. Support of NATF educational programs ensures that we can continue to offer a comprehensive web-based network for both healthcare professional and patient education resources.

Translational Research Program:

The Translational Research Program is being developed to encourage and provide support for novel “thinking out-of-the-box” approaches to laboratory research.  The goal of this program is to fund preliminary research that shows high promise for translating basic biomedical knowledge to thrombosis prevention and treatment.

Clinical Research Program:

The Clinical Research Program is being developed to encourage and provide support for novel clinical research projects.  The goal is to fund preliminary demonstration projects that show high promise for advancing prevention and treatment of thrombotic disorders.

Training Programs:

NATF is committed to providing support to Training Programs that will advance future leaders committed to careers in academic medicine and science. The NATF Traveling Fellowship allows Junior Faculty and Fellowship Trainees the opportunity to expand their fund of knowledge, as well as build positive and enduring relationships with others in the field of thrombotic disorders. Your contribution can help to expand this program to allow for additional scholarships in the coming years.

Make a Difference - Memorial Donation:

Make a personal donation that honors the memory of a loved one, friend, relative, or colleague with a gift of love and hope.

Make a Difference – Tribute Donation:

Honor a loved one, friend, relative, or colleague, who has been affected by thrombosis.  Celebrate a birthday or holiday with a gift of love and hope.

Make a Difference – General Donation:
