Dr. Fredd joined the Food and Drug Administration in 1980. At FDA he held a number of leadership positions, and was the Founder and Director of the Division of Gastrointestinal and Coagulation Drug Products during his tenure. He retired from FDA in 2002, and is currently a consultant on drug development and the approval process at FDA to various interested constituencies.
