This Forum will provide a unique educational experience, allowing patients and their families to interact with health professionals who carry out research, provide clinical care, or work on public policy or advocacy issues related to thrombosis

Western Regional Thrombosis Symposium - May 6 - 7, 2010, Salt Lake City UT
The University of Utah Health Care Thrombosis Service, with collaboration from NATF will host the first Bienniel Western Regional Thrombosis Symposium and Working Group Session in 2010. The purpose of this one and a haf-day scientific and academic medical conference is to foster consensus building and collaboration among multidisciplinary Western Regional leaders, and to encourage scientific discovery and medical education with regard to thrombosis diagnosis, treatment, and prevention in both clinical and research practices and health professional and public education and outreach.

The North American Thrombosis Summit 2010 - September 25, 2010, Boston MA
This program is intended for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and hospital administrators interested in thrombosis treatment or prevention. The intensive 1-day symposium includes talks from 15 renowned speakers in the field of thrombosis, including; physicians, nurses, pharmacists and basic researchers. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of The University of Utah School of Medicine and the North American Thrombosis Forum (NATF). The University of Utah School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Utah School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (s).
