These forums are designated to serve as a venue for discussion among patients, advocates, and clinicians. NATF's goal in hosting these forums is to increase dialogue on and awareness of thrombosis-related diseases, and to provide a bridge between patients who have questions and the clinicians who can answer them.

By using this site, www.naftonline.org (the “Site”), you signify your agreement to all terms, conditions, and notices contained or referenced herein (the “Terms of Use”). The North American Thrombosis Forum (“NATF”) reserves the right, in its discretion, to update or revise these Terms of Use at any time, without notice to you. You may visit and browse the Site without giving any personal information. However, you will need to register with the Site to gain access to member-only content and services and for NATF educational programs. All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Site, with its homepage in the domain of NATFonline.org, is a complimentary information and interactive community service offered by NATF, which is intended to provide patient and healthcare practitioner education information only. The Site does not offer medical advice. Information posted on the Site is designed to support, not replace, the relationship that exists between a patient/site visitor and his/her healthcare professional(s).

REGISTERED USER CONDUCT

You understand that all information, data, text, photographs, graphics, messages or other materials (“Content”) publicly posted, sent, submitted, published, transmitted or otherwise made available through the Site (collectively, “Posted”) is the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. This means that you, and not NATF, bear all risks and liabilities for all Content that you Post. You agree not to Post any Content on the Site that:

  • you do not have the right to Post, including material that infringes any intellectual property or other rights or any entity or person, including infringing on anyone’s copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, rights of publicity or any other proprietary right;

  • is vulgar, obscene, pornographic, indecent, threatening, abusive to others, libelous, defames, invades privacy, stalks, is racist, harassing or offensive;
  • does not pertain directly to this Site;
  • seeks to exploit or harm children by exposing them to inappropriate Content, asking for personally identifiable details or otherwise;
  • impersonates or misrepresents your connection to any other entity or person or otherwise manipulates headers or identifiers to disguise the origin of the Content;

NATF makes no representation that materials on the Site are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the United States, and accessing them is prohibited in territories where viewing or downloading their content is in violation of local law. CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Massachusetts, excluding its conflicts of laws rules. You expressly agree that the exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or action arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use or your use of the Site shall be the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and you further agree and submit to the exercise of personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating any such claim or action.

SEVERABILITY AND INTEGRATION

Unless otherwise specified herein, these Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NATF with respect to the Site and supersede all prior and contemporaneous communications and proposals (whether oral, written, or electronic) between you and NATF with respect to the Site.
