Why have I joined NATF?
One year ago, I began a new journey as a research assistant for Dr. Samuel Goldhaber in the Thrombosis Research Group. I had just graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. As a new graduate, I was unsure of the direction that I wanted to go. The one thing that I was certain of was that I wanted to find a way to connect and help people. Through both my education and from personal experience, I have seen how crucial it is to belong to a group of people who are there for both guidance and support. Working for the Thrombosis Research Group has been a very rewarding experience and the opportunity to work with the North American Thrombosis Forum has been a great way to utilize my passion for helping others.
